"Pet Sins"

I wrote this poem on August 10, 2004! The truth is that we have an enemy. The devil is the Father of lies. The reality is that he is a naked whimpering loser who has been disarmed by JESUS KING OF KINGS and LORD OF LORDS. Genesis 3:15 (NKJV) predicted his demise. Here, God is talking to Satan after he deceived Adam and Eve leading to their removal from God’s perfect Garden, Eden.

And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman,
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”

Another way to read this is: Jesus will CRUSH YOUR HEAD, Satan, and you shall knick his heel.

Colossians 3:13-15 (NKJV)

13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

The devil is toothless lion. His power is removed. The ONLY thing he has to work with is LIES.

“PAY No attention to the man behind the curtain!!!” Just like the fraud, the GREAT and POWERFUL Wizard of Oz, so the enemy of our souls is smoke and mirrors.

Your life is like a sheer cliff face. the enemy cannot crawl up the wall of your life, unless he has something to grab onto. YOUR sins are the attachments, welcome mats, that can turn the sheer face of your life into a rock climbing wall for the enemy! It is time to take stock of your life, assess the lies of the enemy that are keeping you held captive and THROW HIM OUT!

On the second printing of my book, everything was beautiful except!!! Except the fact that the pic of the devil was missing with only his shadow remaining. The other mistakes in that 100 book run was the devil slithered out of my table of contents messing up all my formatting and left the entire book with a strange sepia tone. The Lord rebuke you enemy! God truly works all things together for good. I was able to keep those 100 “the devil is a trouble maker” books for free to have as a true example of how he operates. Plus they make good giveaways!
